ประเภทของเครื่องพิมพ์และลักษณะการทำงาน

1. DOT MATRIX

เป็นเครื่องปริ้นเตอร์ใช้เข็มพิมพ์ (Pin Writer) ร่วมกับผ้าหมึก (Black Ribbon) ทำงานโดยมีสัญญาณไฟฟ้าซึ่งมาจากเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ สั่งให้ Coil ไฟฟ้า ยิงเข็มไปโดนผ้าหมึกให้หมึกติดกับกระดาษออกมาเป็นตัวหนังสือ หรือภาพตามที่ต้องการ
ตัวอย่างเช่น เครื่อง EPSON รุ่น LQ2170I ,NECรุ่น P9300 เป็นต้น

2. LASER JET

เป็นเครื่องพรินเตอร์ ชนิดใช้ผงหมึก (Toner) ทำงานร่วมพลังงานแม่เหล็กไฟฟ้า (Electromagnet) และพลังงานไฟฟ้าสถิตย์ (Electrostatic) ซึ่งทำงานโดยลูกกลิ้งที่มีพลังงานแม่เหล็ก (Magnetic Roller) จะดูดผงหมึก (Toner) ให้ติดกับตัวลูกกลิ้งและต่อจากนั้น ผงหมึก (Toner) ก็จะถูกรีดให้ไปติดกับตัวลูกกลิ้ง (OPC DRUM) ที่มีพลังงานไฟฟ้าสถิตอยู่ ซึ่งได้รับสัญญาณไฟฟ้าที่ส่งมาจากเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ และให้ลูกกลิ้ง (OPC DRUM) รีดผงหมึก (Toner) ให้ติดกับกระดาษตามภาพ หรือตัวอักษรที่ต้องการ

3. INK JET

 เป็นเครื่องปริ้นเตอร์ ชนิดใช้น้ำหมึก (Ink) ร่วมกับการทำงานของหัวพ่น (Print Head) และวงจรไฟฟ้า (Flex Circuit) ทำงานโดยรับสัญญาณไฟฟ้ามาจากคอมพิวเตอร์แล้วสั่งให้วงจรไฟฟ้าพ่นน้ำหมึกให้ออกไปติดกับกระดาษมากหรือน้อยตามตำแหน่งที่ต้องการเป็นภาพ หรือตัวอักษรตามที่ต้องการ

Types of Printers and How They Work

1. Dot Matrix Printer

A Dot Matrix printer uses a pin writer mechanism in combination with a black ribbon. It operates by receiving electrical signals from a computer, which activate the electric coils to fire pins against the ribbon. The impact transfers ink from the ribbon onto the paper to form characters or images as needed.

2. Laser Jet Printer

A Laser Jet printer uses toner powder along with electromagnetic energy and electrostatic charges. The printing process begins with a magnetic roller attracting toner particles. The toner is then transferred to an OPC drum that holds an electrostatic charge. This drum, controlled by signals from the computer, rolls the toner onto the paper to create the desired text or image.

3. Inkjet Printer

An Inkjet printer uses liquid ink combined with a print head and a flex circuit. When it receives an electrical signal from the computer, the circuit controls the amount and position of ink sprayed onto the paper, forming images or text as required.
